Walker Books will be the Australia and New Zealand distributor for UK-based indie Knights Of, in a major step for the small publisher.
Knights Of aims to address the lack of representation in children’s books and has published stories by authors including Jason Reynolds, Sharna Jackson, Samantha Baines and Elle McNicoll. The independent’s titles have also won a number of awards including the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, the Blue Peter Award and the Carnegie Medal.
Veteran children’s publisher Walker Books will now help it to expand its reach outside the UK and Europe.
Knights Of m.d. Aimée Felone said: “We are beyond excited to be partnering with Walker Books Australia to expand the reach of our titles to the Australia and New Zealand market.
