Submissions

Interested in submitting your work?

We’re trying something new in our submissions process – offering a live pitch with one of the team for every submission. That means you can, at any time, click the chat button below and ask us a question, pitch us an idea, send us a gif or draw us a picture.

What is a pitch?

We want to know what story you’re telling and who you are. Say hi and let’s talk, we’ll ask you to copy/paste a short synopsis – and if it sounds good, we’ll probably ask a dozen other relevant questions. Every approach will be different, there’s no formula.

What should I expect?

We’ll respond to you by Live Chat first – giving you as quick an answer as we can. If we’re keen to read / see more, then we’ll invite you to send us a full submission by email.

What type of books are Knights Of looking for?

We publish fiction for children from 5 – 15. We won’t be publishing picture book or YA / cross-over fiction – but if appropriate, we’ll introduce you to the team at The Little Tiger Group.

We want to hear from both new and established creative people – authors, illustrators, animators, film-makers, designers and more – we want to hear from agents as well as directly from new voices. (Before making any offer we will encourage everyone to speak with agents and/or the Society of Authors – we’re more than happy to make introductions where needed.)

Please remember that we’re new and small. Our output is ambitious, so we have to be passionate about who / what we look to publish, no rejection is ever personal. Sorry, we don’t accept submissions by post. (Have we mentioned the Live Chat? Go on, say hi.)
